I think you can go in closer if you have permission.
A lot of the issues surrounding drones relate just as much to privacy as they do to safety.
I'm just waiting for the first shooting-down in this area, which has a fairly high percentage of gun-owners .
Gives a whole new aspect to "Oi! Gerrofof moi land!"0 -
also depends on size of drone and number of proppellors on it0

I think the agents' pics were done with a photo mast, as pictured above.0

The picture was taken from the flat on the 20th floor of the tower block next door.....20 plus years as a mortgage adviser for Halifax (have now retired), and I have pretty much seen it all....:D0

I have a house on the market, fairly large, with a very large garden, and two of the agents I talked to were touting photos from their drones. One of the ladies trying to sell her services (that did NOT come out right!) admitted that it was really just a toy for the boss, and the photos were pretty useless.
I didn't go with either of those agents, but I have seen the pictures they are taking, I'm pretty sure they are using drones, and not sure they often add much. Now, a surveyor with a drone, that I'd find interesting....0 -
The second Rightmove link in the OP's post shows no aerial photo now.

Has it been removed, and if so, why?:think:0 -

As for using a mast, surely a drone would be cheaper and easier to use, assuming you have the relevant permission?0 -
