    however, I have read the newbies thread and it says:
    " The latest advice is to avoid the debt collector rubbish and in the case of AOS MEMBERS ONLY, appeal after around 21 days if you get a windscreen ticket but as the KEEPER, not driver, using the template below. "

    That is why I thought I needed to appeal after 21 days but before 28?

    Thanks for raising that - I'd noticed and was about to pm Redx

    @Redx - could I pm you?

    coupon mad usually says to appeal after 21 days as keeper, to parking companies who dont send out an NTK but instead faff around with debt collectors

    now I cannot tell you if Minster send out NTK letters or not, never had a private parking ticket from anyone in my life , lol, but I believe they do

    I have no idea why that advice has changed either, I did not write it

    MY advice is wait for the NTK to arrive in the post , then appeal it

    you must do as you see fit

    my pm,s are switched off by the way , to preserve my privacy due to too much abuse in the past , sorry (I assume coupon mad is similar, inundated with private messages)

    @ski47

    I agree with Redx and stand by the advice I gave in #9 too.

    @Redx - fair enough

    Thanks again both for your help. That does seem to make sense as appealing a window ticket would effectively be suggesting that I was driving the car. I will wait for the postal notice.

    would effectively be admitting that I was driving the car.

    And this doesn't? Oh dear! :)

    'Me, myself and I' are very dangerous words when dealing with most PCNs.

    Remove that from your post, then I'll delete this. PPCs monitor this forum!

    I've now edited it to "suggesting" I was driving the car which is more in line with my intended meaning anyway. However, I won't be posting any personal details so I struggle to see how this would implicate me any more than the many posts on here (including mine #1) explaining the situation when the parking ticket was received. Please correct me if I'm wrong

    generally speaking, we dont need to know the circumstances of the parking invoice, many people make the mistake of thinking that "what happened" is relevant, it rarely is , the parking company dont care about it apart from if it gives them the name and address of the driver and could be used against them further down the line

    this is an open forum where anyone can join for free, so anybody who passed his 11 plus and works of a PPC would know to read this forum and others like it to spot potential targets

    so if deciding to relay a story, you do so in the third person , as if narrating something that somebody else has done, not yourself

    the problem is that at school we were all taught to write these things in the first person, as if we were there , or not at all

    recently , my grand-daughter was given homework where she had to write a story in this manner , as if narrating a tale she was told, but she struggled to depersonalise it due to the style she has been taught, even I struggled to help her change it from a first person eyewitness account to a third party story being given a new airing

    think of it as a "no comment" interview, prove your case as I am not owning up to anything at all, it wasnt me, I wasnt there, prove it !
