                    Hi guys,
So back at the end of March I got a windscreen ticket from UKPC. I quickly checked these forums and decided to wait for a postal notice which arrived about a week and a bit ago. I've been reading the forums and think I know what to do but thought I'd confirm before since I have seen another member using a different template ( I'm a new user so can't post links, thread number is 4899594 so I'm sure you can get to it, then on page 2!) to the one that is in the sticky thread.
Which one should I use? And is it worth using their online appeal service (which is limited to 3000 characters) or send the letter through the post?
Thank you, and sorry if I'm not breaking a rule by creating a new thread!

Might help if you looked at the date of threads/posts. THAT one is from a year ago - things move on in a year. Stick with the latest appeal template, although you can drop the "rant" paragraph if you wish (the paragraph below point e).
And it's not a fine. (Especially stated for "he who shall not be named"'s benefit). 0 0

Ah damn - don't think I can edit thread's title!
Thank you - I had a look but I couldn't see what date the template was last changed on the sticky thread! I'll let everyone know what the outcome is
 Thank you!0

Can you click on Edit in your OP then click the Advanced Edit button - does that give a Title box that you can change?0

UKPC online appeals has a lower character limit than that - believe it is more like 1,000 , Parking Eye's is 3,000.
However you can always upload a full appeal as additional documentation as PDF file. Take screenshots of the process.
If you use the post - best get a certificate of posting free of charge.0

Thanks for all the help - received a letter last week saying that they have decided not to carry on with this notice and all things have been dropped, basically!
 Cheers!0
