    Thank you Amara!

We definitely inspire each other. This post has been one of the ones that has consistently helped me have a structured set of goals to aim for...

    ...so thank you :)

I'm going to now aim to get £1000.00 in my EF. I've got a bit of time left until the challenge ends and another pay day so will see how far I get.

Keep at it folks... You can do it! I got paid on Friday and I'm determined to 'make do' until the 01st on Wednesday. I'm out of milk and bread and in fact most things remotely exciting in my food cupboard haha... I had porridge with water and cinamon <wallpaper paste> and hot water with half a <very dried up> lime... I'm using up all the tins that have been at the back of my cupboard forever - making whatever. They may not make Masterchef - but it's food. I think of how folk in other countries live off staple foods day in day out... I know it is a matter of survival for many - and they don't have the same choices we have - but - they still inspire me and help me realise how lucky i am.

So... ask yourself - do i just want this or is it something I really need...? A wise friend once taught me that... The things we want are the little luxuries in life.

Hugs everyone. You're all doing a grand job!

I'm so pleased for you Abundant1972... And a bit jealous too, lol.
My challenge is not doing great , my excuse is I'm buying a house and need money for solicitors and other fees. But I'm doing what I can.
    Keep going, The Challengers!
  • well because I was a good girl and paid off my Lloyds overdraft July is the first month that I won't pay any OD charges which means I have an extra £35 to throw at my new target.

So my total now stands at £241.11/£500.
