                    Hey all!
Thinking about appealing this ticket that was issued just earlier today.
My missus was picking up a kid from after school club and dropped the car on a double yellow for 2-3 min max.
Now i found that:
1. 5 minute obs time will apply
2. exemption for loading/unloading
3. alighting
4. no plates specifying times
nidirect gov uk
not sure if any of these would be suitable as my grounds. Now here is the thing, she left the car at 4.30pm spot on because school door is 15 seconds away, and upon returning seen him typing on his machine, loaded up the kids started the engine and he goes, quote: if you leave now you will have to pay £130. Printed the ticket, handed over and walked off.
Help is appreciated guys, cause this is nuts, considering that parking bays on the other side of school were all suspended and normally there is extremely hard to find a space any day down there (Greenwich/Cutty Sark)

as this is council you should seek advice from pepipoo forums, where the experts are
they will probably want scans front and back of the ticket, plus photos of the place where it happened and any signage
some guidance for her , DONT PARK ON YELLOW LINES0
