Savings & Regular Saver

Hello MSE Forum,
Can you give me some advice. My fiancee and I are trying to save for our wedding in a couple of years. We have some money now to put away and we also want to set up a regular saver to save more! We have about 5k to save now and want to put away 100-200 a month in a regular saver. I currently have a halifax current account and she has a natwest current account but we are both happy to change accounts if we can get better deals. Can you suggest anything?
Thanks!!!

Try the quick links above on Top Savings Accounts 3% easy access, up to 3.11% fixed and take appropriate action? A couple of those TSB accounts would seem to sort you well if you switch money between them and you existing accounts to meet the pay in £500 a month requirement.0

First Direct and M&S both have regular saver accounts which pay 6% - as do HSBC if you qualify for an Advance current account. AFAIK these are the best rates you can currently get on savings accounts in the UK - so it makes sense to make maximum use of them, if necessary by drip feeding your existing savings from other, lower paying savings accounts into them rather than just using them for new savings.

All three come linked to current accounts but that doesn't necessarily mean you have to move your existing current accounts - you can have more than one current account if you like.0
