Thanks, that's what I'm thinking.
The main one we were looking at is an apartment in a holiday park. The park run everything for you from what it looks like, so you pay them a percentage of the rent as a fee. It probably isn't as simple as it sounds though, we're waiting to hear back from them with specifics.0 -
It turns out that the Dutch tax webpage is terrible and doesn't really mention that the non-resident taxpayer status only applies if you have property or other immovable investments in the Netherlands. Bank accounts aren't taxed if you live outside the country, so there's no need to do anything to the money (other than look for higher paying accounts within the Eurozone.
