By rights you should be getting the Clubcard points for the normal transaction and also the 1 point per £4... Unless you're not a Tesco Credit Card holder? It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0

I seem to recall reading that £100 is authorised on all credit cards but that Visa and Mastercard drop that to £1 after the proper transaction goes through.0

I only use pay at pump with Asda - these tend to be unattended.
It works with all my debit cards with at least £1 deposited - even my one 'online' Visa DebitThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Years ago you never saw this because you only checked your debit/credit card once a month when you got your statement, not checking online 2 minutes after you used your card.

there is a thread about this, but using a Clubcard Creditcard as a Clubcard, and paying in the kiosk, pays double points. perhaps, though, you now know that this works via PaP too. fwiw, i prefer using the kiosk anyway.
It always worked at P@P, but there was an issue (last year?) where it stopped working and only awarded 1 point per £2 - it was remedied and the points not issued were credited later. Works fine now - 1 clubcard per £1 plus whatever from the card you pay with.0 -
Pay at pump allows you to reduce the price with Tesco Fuel Save before you pump, so that you can pump an amount in whole pounds and not waste any pennies which won't earn clubcard points or amex points0

I had the same problem when I bought fuel at asda , I used a pre paid mastercard which I use for my business account , Put £20 in , and got debited £100 and it was actually missing from my account all weekend until the mon or tues .
The problem I had with it , was if someone had done this and literally only had £100 in the account that would of left them skint all weekend !0
