I've just finished mine too, I have to give a good impression when I go to work tomorrow  Although they'll hopefully sort my uniform out pretty quickly, I only have one white shirt and I refuse to buy another one :rotfl:

Sainsbobs - sadly none of the 20p dolmios but our store had an entire section of ethnic food reduced with red labels - no 20p items but a few good things.
Also some of the exotic reduced drinks for 50p - not pure juice but Ok for adding to fruit smoothies - I can remember paying 35p for value juice and now its 70p

marks - a entire stand of half price Buck's Fizz, kir and bilini 99p, £1.49p and £2.49 - ideal for summer picnics and barbecues - don't know of there is a multibuys discount for 6 bottles, possible does not work on these.

I don't bother with wombles, I guess good for some people but walking around a car park just don't do it for me. But I have been known to pick up receipts for another reason  (and before the MSE police come after me its not anything illegal)

... Jolly decent of you to just help with their tidying up :).

How far in advance did you book - did you ring to book or through the website?
Did you ask about an upgrade or was it just offered as you booked in?

We will hit our £750 target in a few weeks - it turned out to be far too easy to spend this - coal bill, new washing machine, dentist bill etc - are you emailed the code and you then ring up - or do you check availability on the website before you ring?

Booked when I got the summertime ball tickets. Can't remember when that was, but not long, only about a month or so ago (got them the day they came out). I rang up, they send you a free night certificate shortly after you hit your spend, and you ring to book it.

Once booked they send you an email to confirm, and that also offers upgrades for money, which I ignored. :D

I was sent an email on Friday saying I could check in online - I started going through the process and it was there that it gave me my room number and showed I had been upgraded. However, it was showing as a king room and I specified twin as going with DD, so I rang the hotel direct. I thanked them for the free upgrade, which they confirmed, then said about the beds, but they told me that the king rooms can be split into twin beds and it was noted on the system.

When we got there yesterday I was given room key, and the check in person started saying about breakfast, telling me it was £16 per person. I explained I had been upgraded to an executive room, which I understood came with free breakfast in the exec lounge, and I had confirmed the upgrade when I phoned the previous day. She seemed a bit confused, but put it through anyway!

Ta for this - going to check the accounts tommorow to see how close we are.
I was thinking of putting the 2 free nights together but I am now thinking we might stand a better chance of upgrading with single nights.
Otherwise it will be Greggs breakfasts :)
