I got rid of 2 large APG with a bit of shopping and some PJs last night. Tonight I got rid of the other 2 with more clothes shopping and some Sanex and Knobbly things. So turned 53 pounds worth of APG intp £17.00 cash refund for the pjs, £12.00 worth clothes to go back and a APG of over £10.00 to come. Also got shopping for me , DD and oh.0

Evening :wave:WishI'dReadSooner wrote: »Not sure about that QOC as our roads have signs up that they are totally CLOSED between these times. THAT would be the sensible way to do things but our council doesn't seem to do sensible OR offer diversions - if they do offer diversion signs they peter out before you get to the awkward country lanes with many turnings but no signage.
Last time they closed our road off for nearly a week, a few months back, there were NO signs in/after village that road was closed - we just drove up to barriers & had to try and navigate (not very well) through single file muddy overgrown country lanes.
Our docs & hospital were NOT amused - but that's Monmouthshire for you!miss_corerupted wrote: »There is a home living in newport. I will remember your tip in case I ever do it again. I didn't think you could use them in there
Waves to local people
miss_co - I use them in Asda Living Spytty all the time, they take them no bother
Also Asda Newport Pillgwenlly are pretty good. And Cwmbran.
I would avoid it in the Duffryn store though, got trouted with a £13 the other day - kept me hanging around for a while while the section leader had to take it away and go and check it <rolls eyes> all good in the end though0 -

Popped into the local m and s garage for a chicken wrap for tea and heartbreakingly had to leave lots of very posh whoopsie flowers behind as doubt they would last in car in this heat.
Will remember to check on Friday nights when down in future.
