One of our daughters is getting married on saturday one of our grandsons who lives with us we ordered him a 5 piece suit. because hes on the chubby side we had to pay for alterations too
suit was supposed to arrive in 10 days it came today took 4 weeks
shirt sleeves are 6" short waitcoat had no flippin buttons on it jacket they say they forgot to alter and although it does up its too snug a fit..
the tie has cardboard stitched inside so it cant be done up.
sent them the crappiest email i think theyve ever had threatened to give them the worst feedback on this planet if they didnt refund my money which they did the the cheeky beggars asked me to return the suit
i told them u want it you send me a pre paid bag or come get it yourself
now ive only got a few days to find another piggin suit

Have you tried posting on local facebook groups? There may be people in the area who have a kids suit just hanging in the cupboard.

It's always done that though , for me anyway , it's never taken more off than I have paid but today I bought raspberries , muffins and sausages which were all on a multibuy and no discount came off at all.

    was it self service?

it's been reported before that the multibuy discount won't take off more than you pay. ie you don't get overage anymore

Ah, must be very recent then as few weeks ago was being paid to buy roast beef slices and then some. Used the overage to buy full priced f&v

I always do self service as the checkout girls were told to override multibuys on reduced items.

Not sure if confirmed, but some sanex are £1.59 in Waities.

2x sanex plus nobbly massager (old apg only)
    £3.518 back on £4 spend

sanex repair bath (grey lid) used to be better than free (2x plus nobbly) but has gone up in Tosco now (old apg only)

edit: also some sanex 250ml deos same comp £3.19 v £1.59 waities

I noticed the Sanex Shower Gels and Bath Creams had also gone back up to full price in M. There are some deos on 2 for £4 mbuy there apparently, according to msm, although doesn't seem too much use from your edit as W at £1.59 each. Repair Bath is not stocked by any of my As so I couldn't get any 'better than free' and we already have too many of them and have no need for more than one massager, so I'm just ending up with near-worthless APGs off any of my expensive essential item shops at the moment - just no point even going for 10% off my cheap SP items as that's an APG of a few pence - I may as well not even bother with APG shopping as I can just find better wombles than the APGs off my own shopping these days, with which to pay for the next shop - as regards any other glitches at present, that might help give better APGs than wombles, it seems perfectly hopeless:rotfl:.

Better off relying on people to buy wayyy too much as they give better APGs than any real cheap shopping of minimal items at present - with A and elsewhere either uselessly price-matched - I need them to be at least £1 more expensive on one item to make it even approach worthwhile - or A have brought the prices down and aren't giving me 10% on the shelf price but may have gone to just short of 10%, and therefore just 2p APG on each item in my shop is... total of 16p APG for my entire shopping:(. A are not much more expensive but are same price on my essentials - and no point trying to compare against many offer prices (where no glitches are there) as the offer prices are way too high (e.g. Shreddies at £1.24 in T, but way too expensive for a 500g pack - offer really should be £1 or under - no good when 1kg version was £1.92 some months ago and I've already got Shreddies so don't need the item anyway) and would only see me spending more than a 10p Haribo to still end up spending more on 10% cheaper than offer price*.

I did try - at the moment, with total no need at all for Sanex - if I need the item numbers, the Sanex still end up more costly than using two 10p sweets as a filler to reach the 8 in place of them - I have an Iceberg Lettuce giving about 13p:( to an APG but, at that rate, 8 items of low value 10% (as maximum price I pay for each item is £1 it's maximum of 10p APG each) - it's still well under £1. I even may as well just buy an Iceberg Lettuce at full price 49p:eek:, it's useless as anything else extra would cost about the same as any APG back by buying far more items to reach the 8 - as the APGs off any of my shops are going to be hopeless at present - I'd be better paying for everything at full price (two or three items at a time) and finding a £1 womble to act as the APG back, not too difficult to find, as anything off my shops is going to be less than that.

*I'd be paying, in the end, £1.12 or so net. after APG to add the Shreddies as an item to get it to be a 'decent' APG worth printing - I may as well buy a 10p Haribo as the item to get the numbers rather than the Shreddies and save £1.02. And then end with next-to-no APG:(.

Looks like things may have changed then. If I see lots of reductions in the cabinet from now on, I'll just buy one multi and do a test shop to check things out ;)

Sorry your multis didn't come off :(
