I doubt they will look at receipt that closely. They will just check Snickers was on there. take it back!

I have to say, I never used to find out of date stuff before I started shopping at As. They are bad for that.

I'm just coming in, and therefore a fortuitous reply from me as this happens to be here but I have to say I've not been too pleased at having to take such short-dates on some items I've bought recently - but when they are essentials and no ability to go to another store as may be even worse (OOS) there or near to closing on a Sunday - I had some non-whoopsied bread (as someone here won't take freezer stuff) but BB today was the best I could find:( - some potatoes a couple of days ago - 2.5Kg - some BB yesterday and others BB 3rd June:(. I would have expected them to have potatoes that were BB at least 6th June, but so so short-dated - and when I think I saw some 6th June ones earlier on in one of the ex-Nettos when I didn't quite need them then:(, hardly any good to have about four days on them when paying over the odds anyway but having to get mbuy to make it less bad.

    Evening all..:D

Just got back from my hols to discover an email from A Head Office. Despite what I was told on the phone a few weeks ago, it looks like I might be back in the game after all..:j:j

Good afternoon lovely, charming, slightly plump Scottish person..:D

My name is Asda Bird and I'm replying to the email you sent to Andy Clarke regarding your query about the use of our Asda Price Guarantee. As part of Andy’s team, he’s asked me to investigate and respond to you directly on his behalf.

I've contacted a splendid English chap, the General Store Manager in your local store and also our Pricing Analyst here at Head Office who have confirmed that you are able to use the Asda Price Guarantee vouchers subject to the terms and conditions. Any household can only claim 10 vouchers in a calendar month and that we will never issue a household with more than £100 of vouchers in a calendar month.

I hope this answers your query. Thanks for taking the time to email Andy and if there’s anything else we can help you with, please do get in touch.

    Kind regards,
    Asda Bird

So, a very happy Jock here who can't wait to start having some shopping fun again..

That is fantastic news! Hope your holiday was brilliant.

You know potatoes past their BB are fine, the ones I dig out of the ground don't come with a BB at all :money:

The price of them in the shop does wind me up somewhat, especially given they are so cheap to produce. I bet the farmers aren't getting a fair deal out of it either :(

    ROASTING BAGS NOT WORKING

Just checked my 2 shops of 11 roasting bags, large, reduced to £1 and they are not showing at all on old APG :(. I even filled up with more expensive items to make receipts larger. They were showing on MSM at time of purchase as £3.97 v £1.80 at T. I didn't check A.com, should I have?

Were these working on new? I didn't think so.

Sorry if already posted but just going back to catch up. Thought I should get the news out quickly to save others disappointment.

Thanks guys, the holiday was amazing. Two whole weeks of internet free, work free relaxation has made me a lot less stressed than I have been of late. Lying by a pool in 30 degree heat doing nothing but drinking cocktails certainly agrees with me..:D

    Another 11+:)

Gourmet Perle 12 x 85 g pouches, Ocean Delicacies fillets in gravy bc ends 955016 £2 in one store and £1.50 in another:) Bought 11 and a few bits to get full price comparison, just in case they were cheaper elsewhere.

    APG back on 11 cat foods - £8.24. :T

Already posted by TM but my local has the seaside duo rtc at £1.50. Might work. I bought a couple of boxes as I was happy to try at £1.50 - see if my cat likes it. (Yes).

I noticed that there weren't many left, if I do a c and c tomorrow and they sub it will it get the rtc price?

Sorry if anyone has posted this, I've got in from work SOAKED and running late. Will catch up with posts later on.

    So this is summer time?
