    I've missed loads again :o

    Happy birthday to the birthday girls. I know there's a few this weekend. No hope of catching up. Sorry :o

    LFAB I even missed the darts in Dubai :(

    Been trying to make the most of the last few days of the holiday with mixed results :eek:
    Have had a good talking to from DS1 about.....moving on...... and not burying my head in the sand about the changes that are going on in all of our lives. When did he become so sensible :eek: :o

    Emotional stuff :eek:

    And seeing as dresses seem to be a subject. I need a grown up one. I'm going to Bastion Memorial Service on Thursday week at the National Arboretum *Gulp* I've spoken to other people that are going and no-one wants too much sombre black so maybe navy with a splash of red? Oh I don't know..

    ramble, ramble, ramble :D :rotfl::rotfl:

    Prince Harry will be there...do you think you could ask him if he would have a date with DD.

    She would be very grateful:)

    I actually came on to wish savvysal my bestest for her op tomorrow......but it's only Saturday isn't it?

    I ironed all the uniforms today and barked at the kids when they argued about charging their phones up.

    oh dear :( ive lost a day and my kids put up with it :o

    For goodness sake :o I really have spent a whole day thinking it was Sunday. Why didn't my oh protest when I made him cook a Sunday dinner? :cool: and better still what are we going to eat tomorrow :eek:

    Oh Pah, he's regularly at functions I attend :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I could ask but I might be the one getting dragged away with a security guards arm in my mouth :eek:

    On a serious note. My OH was asked to attend this service as some of the people being honoured were lost in the incident he was injured in :( he won't even entertain the idea.....so I am going in his place.
    I can totally understand him not being able to but it seems so rude not honour those who didn't make it back. I already know the families and it's so fitting they are finally getting a memorial to their fallen in this country.

    The Memorial at Bastion was never official. It was just cobbled together by soldiers who had lost colleagues and it's so fitting that parts of the original are being re-installed here.
