Wombled men indeed. My car had a flat battery and VT's car doesn't have a battery, or if it does we couldn't find it, so I needed to find someone to jump start my car. I was fully prepared with jump leads in hand;) so approached several likely looking candidates. One had never done it before, one had his dads car and despite he and his friend searching for several minutes, couldn't find how to open the bonnet.
Eventually I approached a man with a huge Hilux, who was willing, and we got my car started:T
Had a lovely shopping trip with VT. Lots of laughs and she nagged me into having my eyebrows threaded. Not painful she said:eek: Yeah right:eek: Then she told me not to flinch:rotfl:
Been so busy since our return. DS2 had kept the house clean and tidy and looked after my pussits really well, so I'm happy.
Got a cleaner starting next Friday, recommended by VT, so with that and my reduced hours at work I'll have a bit more free time. I'm sure I'll find something to occupy me;).
Loved 'pandagate'. FC you must write a book. I'd buy it.
Happy belated birthday to hornetgirl, and to anyone else I've missed.

My point was clear to me and hopefully others, I was only trying to help as a few people have posted results showing 10 and some people may have missed the original posts about why this works. . The glitch may affectionately be known as 11+ but it only requires 11 of the same rtc item to trigger it. You could if you wish buy more, but not less, though as you say, there may be little to be gained (financially) from buying more as only 10 match (apart from getting more of an rtc item you want that has limited quantities available and/or increasing the overall receipt amount to soften a large apg for when you come to spend it.

I have found that buying a giftcard on top can be a good way of increasing the receipt value without losing anything on the apg (I still pick my till carefully though as I do feel more exposed with a £10+ apg).

It is one of the potential downsides of the 11+ technique that in many cases it will produce a larger than you may prefer apg value.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes, have had a fab week as my very special aunt and uncle are here , we are all going out for a meal tonight so looking forward to that, happy birthday to all that are also celebrating have a good one:beer:
