I posted yesterday that I have managed to gain 1/2 a stone :rotfl: and that's all bra cause I Sid I was going on a diet  I have decided to not be on a diet this week and then weigh again next Monday and start from there
1/2 a stone in a week :eek::eek: can't be right...scales are broke!!
I think you're right bout using the term 'diet', it should be 'eating plan' or just plain 'cutting down'
I'll see if I can send the PM again...even wrote my true weight :rotfl:0 -
Another phone call from the Windows department, this time from Jennifer.
She said it was about my refund that I was due.
I said oh yes I remember you were sending me £563 for my refund.
No she said it was 150 euros so I said what if I'd paid in pounds sterling and not euros
At that point she gave up ...

Just £1 in M, no multi needed - msm is incorrect
Also £1 in T
£2.28 any 2 for £3.50 in A5da
edit to clarify:
msm is incorrect for the Morries prices, don't think there is a glitch here just a comparison unless Dippy knows something we don't!#CHEEKY :cool:0 -
he did GCSE's last year...this time round its the AS level....Maths Physics Chemistry and Geography
Ohhh wish him luck
My daughters are Biology History English and Sociology and im shocked at the jump betweeen GCSE and A/s levels.
And on the subject of politics im amazed at the intrest she is showing , when i was her age i didnt care but she has her own opinion and can give a very good argument for why she wants them in and about what each party stands for....its nice to know that kids are at least realising what goverments/partys ect stand for0 -

The NHS is in crisis and the Tories have done it on purpose. Run it down to a point it's worth nothing, is costing a fortune and get the people on side to privatise it.
And yet people can't see it as they are too wrapped up in their own lives.
When you go to A&E in America their first question isn't "where does it hurt?" it's "how will you be paying?"
Are thing going to have to go that far here before people realise? By then it will be too late.
As previously stated Labour has done such a Stirling job of the NHS in Wales.......NOT!0 -

As far as I know there are some GCSE'S that may have started already if they havent started this week then they will by next...
I found the whole GCSE exam time really stressful as a parent...there were a lot of exams in quite a short space of time, its been much easier on us all this year as DS has had fewer subjects albeit ones that require more detail but they are the ones he likes and dare I say enjoys
He really struggled with languages and was forced to take a language at GCSE that he had no interest in whatsoever....thats when learning becomes a chore.....
At the moment he's still on a pretty even keel about the exams...ask me in 3 weeks time and it could all be a different story!
My daughter felt the same about the languages and was forced to do one too as she was told it was needed for uni, she only got a C which was her lowest of 14 GCSEs and i know she would have done better in any other subject as she simply didnt try.
She is also a lot more relaxed this time round as at least these are subjects she choose and has an intrest in.0 -
Before the election George Osborne promised a Wales Bill within 100 days after the election giving Wales more powers. He now says it will not happen for at least a year.

Is this the first promise to be broken?0
