    Morning all :D

4 months ago I had an offer of work, which has been pending various things all this time. They have been messing around good and proper so yesterday I bit the bullet and registered with an agency :o . I say :o because my opinion of them isn't very good.

I have already been put forward for two rather well paid permanent jobs and a temp job looks like it might be starting next week  So without a lottery win, my days being mine are numbered  :)

    Hello early worm:) how's things?:A

Early worm:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I've been up for four hours.

Things still a bit :( Hope all is good for you.

Have you got the old apg still and if so could you check mine for me? Got some roasting bags yesterday and see that they are now marked unavailable on ms.

Missed all the changeover so don't know the difference between old and new. I think that I must have new on Chrome as it shows a barcode on the first page.

Good morning all, nice sunny day here (so far)!

All that talk about dresses last night has got me thinking. We have a party to go to next Saturday, being held by a Knight of the Realm (oooh, get me!). I was going to wear my purple silk LK Bennett, or my M&S maxi, or the silk one I had made in Thailand. Problem is, it is not formal or anything, but I might be better off wearing blue for various reasons. I don't do dresses, but all that talk of dresses has got me thinking I might have to go find another one ..............

QoC, it takes a while to get any new business off the ground, can you just take the temporary job and in the meantime canvass for new customers?

Good morning all! Sorry to have been AWL for so long, RL quite busy.

I decided when DH started his new job after Christmas and was travelling away a lot more again that I'd have to get myself busier during the week, so I applied to a neighbouring authority and now I work for two of them as and when. It keeps me out of mischief, but sadly cuts down a bit on time for other things (though does mean I pass a wider range of supermarkets) :D

It's now starting to get busy and will be full on soon until September, but I've just been away and am going away in autumn, so should cope with the madness!

    Love to all

    Lutz xx

What kind of work do you do lutzi1? As and when sounds good :D

Maybe you need time to think about where to go with the business then. If you have the ideas you simply need a plan of action, once you build up a client base things sort of flow from there. Problem is, these days you seem to need to start with a decent website.

Interestingly our website is extremely basic, most of our customers come through word of mouth or the Business club my OH belongs to (BNI).

That's kind of what I'm thinking ... I've got med-legal experience but not legal on its own so if I can get some of that under my belt, it will be a big help :)

Spot on MKS - I perform civil ceremonies - marriages, civil partnerships, baby namings etc. :) Usually it's a lovely job but it's not well paid and it goes very quiet in the winter.

Must dash off to work, have a good day all. :)
    Hope is not a strategy.
