Went to travel agents armed with Mhoc's advice and an itenery off the website. Wanted to ask some questions about cruising. The SA was very impressed with the price, couldn't beat it, but matched it. Popped in to Homebase on the way home and bought up all the seed potatoes reduced to 50p.

Veg patch is growing a nice crop of nettles, but DF came over to help de nettle, and we had a bonfire last night so todays job can be digging the potatoes in. It is the only veg I manage to grow, apart from lettuce in boxes on the patio.

I made some dog biscuits and washing 'Gloop' too, just to complete the 'Good Life' theme.

DD was saying the other day that she can't understand why we are not 'rolling in it' with all my money saving efforts. Me neither!

If its p & o there is a facebook page - very active and lots of questions and answers on all aspects of cruising

Otherwise there are a few Elite cruisers ready to answer questions - I can do general ones - only done western med once so far and only from Southampton, no fly or fly stay ones yet - never enough months in the year

Bother! I have lost my receipt from shopping earlier :mad:. I know the transaction number as I had an RTC shop go through after it and still have that worthless receipt ... but as I paid for a giftcard with APG, I am not sure I am well placed to ask for a reprint . That is a £10 APG I will not see...

Are you sure you have lost it? i thought that earlier, i had the signed one in my pocket that i has used , which i thought was new one, but after a hunt in purse, handbag and carrier,it was in a carrier:D

Yes I am sure, I lost it years ago . But with regards the receipt, I haven't got a purse or handbag :eek: and I have emptied all pockets, bags, bins and even tidied out the car looking.

I may venture back to store later and if a friendly CS will see if they can reprint (as I had a giftcard, I suppose I can use that as the reason ).
