I have 2 siblings, a brother and sister.
Before my mother died my brother accused me over the phone of banking some of mums pension money into 'my' bank. When I spoke to my sister on the phone I mentioned this to her.
Her reply was 'I don't want to get involved'
She took care of bank statements and all she needed to do was look at the statements and she would see that all monies relevant monies had infact been banked in mums account.
I would buy cheap veg from roadside sellers and give them to mum, brother would charge her. I used to buy sacks of spuds from the local farm and share them with mum and dad. Mt brother would charge them.
Needless to say, I no longer have a brother and my sister has never really been there as a sister, never had the time for me, too busy etc, will ring me back when she has time but then doesn't. Such a shame as both mum and dad now both gone, they wouldn't have wanted this.
Family at times are awful. Not seen my brother for 5 years. Cause I'm only person who ever tells him truth and doesn't pander.
My mother was accused of something similar when my Nannie died. My uncle wanted his share of her so called money. It equated to £30my mums boss in the end called my uncle who had harassed my mother endlessly. Told him he would write a personal cheque as soon as my uncle sent a third share for the funeral that my mums boss had leant her
He wound his neck in,never seen him for over 20 years and then he turned up at Mums. I tried to be civil but when he started off slagging off my Nannie and my father I walked out with a few choice words. My father would have banjoed him into next week and I told him so.
I have never seen him again.
Anyways good morning lovely people. My online family xxxxx0 -

I am beginning to wish my father had left me nothing in his will. His wife was obviously sitting next to him when he made it. He said that I had had a loan off him (which I had not). I have stated the facts, that he invested into our business and then his wife demanded it back (after we had bought the goods it was intended for) saying they were destitute, we pay it back then find out that she was giving it to her daughter and they had never needed it. To cut a long story short we cannot prove this and that woman allowed my father and my whole family to think that I borrowed money off my father and never paid it back. I knew she was a b***** but I didn't think even she would stoop so low. We are having a last ditch at trying to find bank statements but we are talking back to 1992, and my father's will was dated 2002:mad:
I think the burden of proof is on her not you enterprise. And you're ight she is a Bee -atch :mad:0 -

Good morning all.:D
Lots of birthdays recently I see from my catchup. Happy birthday to all who are or have been celebrating.
Hope TS's party went well. I vaguely followed 'dressgate', and thought that all the advice was sound. Definitely no 'shapewear'. No comfort when you're trussed up like a chicken ready for the oven.
We only have a couple of days left now.:( We're making the most of them. Lunch invite yesterday followed by a dinner invite too. Ate far too much. SW went out of the window during the holiday, so am dreading my next weigh in.
I am cooking Jerk Chicken to take to the beach today, with the addition of some Jamaican Patties bought locally. All very non SW:rotfl:
Couple of pics for you
View from our balcony
Couple of ducks on a salt pond
Have a lovely day.

Good morning all
We have a couple of houses that we rent out and a flat that i cant rent due to antisocial council tenants We have been very lucky Three tenants have just disappeared but with only minimal rent loss but never any damage. I am however very surprised  at what other folk's standards of cleanliness are.
We only carry out repairs similar to that with the council policy minor issues need to be dealt with by the tenant.
Most of my renewals come via friends of a tenant
I am another Gemini.
Kept that quiet lovely. So is little miss couple of weeks. Xxx0 -

omg Enterprise I'm so sorry to hear this awful news. Someone I know had a similar situation. Their father remarried later in life and the new wife wanted to move about 300 miles away. So father bought bungalow but died 10 months later.
Next thing is new wife claiming that his daughter had borrowed money way back and she needs it paid back. £25000. There is no paperwork to be found but daughter does not owe this at all. It is still on going.
My heart goes out to you Enterprise because it's just not right, that someone can do this. There must be a way that you can get bank statements though, even if you have to pay for them.
What a b**** she is (((hugs)))Happy birthday Hillbern Nice gift of flowers
Enterprise Hope you feel better after your walk I can understand that you dont want to say more to your DH But either vent on here, to a pal or a PM Families can hurt so much DH had to let his siblings go They dragged him down time so often but he holds the hurt inside. I vent It really helps♥ Enterprise ♥
We are very fortunate to be able to have this thread, to vent our anger/worries/sorrow/pain
A wonderful anonymous outlet that won't tittle tattle back to our family or friends/enemies
Better than screaming inside our heads
Thank you all. It is great to be able to post on here.
At least I am in a better position than your friend AJ, I don't have to pay it back, it is being taken out of the inheritance, but it really hurts that father died thinking that I owed money I did not. The worst of it is we knocked ourselves out trying to pay back the investment, nearly lost the house over it. Financially we have now lost out three ways, paying back the money when we did not have it, being stuck with stuff we did not have the money to merchandise, and now having it taken off us again! We may find the statements, and certainly if we do they will be told about it, even if it is too many years down the line to make any difference
Unfortunately I have come to the conclusion that I shall have to give up on my brother. Frankly, if he thinks so little of me then I am simply not interested. I think I shall quietly let that relationship drift on to oblivion. I thought about writing him an email giving all the facts, but then I would seem like a petulant little girl. I am going to be the bigger person and forget just he ever existed.
At least we had a nice walk. After first herding a young bird out of the house that had flown in through the back door. I kept telling OH I thought there was a bird in the house, he just said it sounded like it because all the windows were open, but it was flying around in our bedroom when I went up to change my jeans :eek:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
