[EDIT: Time for Savvy to come in... and disrupt the conversation with something completely different:o:o:p:rotfl:...]
My 320g Apricots earlier were a no-show on the APG. Which was just as well as I was managing to do a comparison shop vs T, where their 320g Apricots are £1. I saw them on the aisle end with big 77p in one of my main A stores, thus realising that the M apricots weren't a good idea - typical that msm didn't show any at A and thus didn't tell me about this 'saving'. Seems I not only have to find lots of items in M that they don't have online but have to do the same for A as well:(:rotfl:. With the 77p, it helped reach the amount of the voucher I was spending and I already had enough other items:T. I couldn't do my shop earlier though, as the store was OOS of significant items that I needed for the shop. So I went to my other main A later in the evening, and shades of Mr M:rotfl: - there were no Apricots at all on the promotional ends, instead the only Apricots I saw were in the normal 'run' and they had SEL saying £2:rotfl:. "That's £2 as in 'means they are 77p'" I thought - and indeed they scanned at 77p. I'm sort of good at being psychic like that:D. Other customers would have been none the wiser from the inaccurate SEL and, sure enough, plenty of stock left on the shelves there as they picked up other fruit below that looked cheaper.
Caused a bit of a minor inconvenience for myself though - as had to go and check the Apricots at the SS, then come back and continue getting my shopping. No use spending time getting all the items I wanted for the shop, only to take them to the till and find the Apricots were high priced and the whole thing left in ruins:rotfl:. (If they had been high priced, I think it might have been sent off to the other store to see if I get overcharged at £2 on the 77p SEL:D - you have to think laterally like that - but I doubt it particularly as clearly a prominent offer there. I would have been :mad:having to sort out the rest of the shop in that scenario - as mentioned, the first store didn't have items I needed.:rotfl:)
I think I mention the Apricots because the Everyday and Savers RTE Apricots packs, which were less weighty, were, when they used to stock them, more expensive in T and M - A didn't have any equivalent and they were coincidentally £1.17 (or £1.19(?)) in both T and M, so 77p for a higher weight looks good even though  the 'fresh' apricots are larger and therefore fewer in number than the dried fruit stuff would have been I suspect.
Anyway I did the shop - not v.interesting - found the frozen A Roast Beef Dinner (375g) compares £1.50 vs £1.40 T due to T being higher weight - I don't know why I mention that as I am merely a promotional vehicle:( for A again as doubtless will just see them selling more than they would otherwise now have mentioned it on here. At least I didn't lose any saving by having the Apricots appear and compare:rotfl:.
(Of course, it would have been 'better' if I had got a 77p item that appeared on the APG and compared against T at 77p (or only slightly more) or, preferably, a lot cheaper. However, if that were the case, we'd never buy any non-grocery items ever at all even though, sometimes, we need them and I thought the Apricots were quite a good price.)
Alright, on that, I was just popping in - so, goodnight!:)
Oh - I should mention Monday is Bank Holiday which I sort of forgot about:o earlier on, and then hoped that it would be a week later that was the Bank Holiday rather than this one. I think I'm not going to go to M on Monday as it's Bank Holiday and, since I don't know whether they collect on Monday or Tuesday nowadays, I will leave the M thing until Wednesday. So, it's back to the old days and out of the loop until mid-week. Time for us to miss something again like the After Eights last time:rotfl:. I'll just do the Wednesday and have lots of changes to sort out from that one day, rather than a preview on Monday/Tuesday and then easier job on Wednesday - anyway it's supposed to be a full collection on each day, it's not a case of a 'build-up and make sure you have everything by the Wednesday' thing - it should be fully done on the first day - I insist:rotfl: - so, I suspect I'd just go on Wednesday - even though I'd probably have preferred it if it had just been Monday and miss out Wednesday:rotfl: - would have been a bit better, instead of mid-week, anyway... the list can be woefully out of date for a few days come Monday (just like the good ol' days:rotfl:).
Enough of my waffle, goodnight!:):wave:0 -

Didn't read the Bunty but my neighbour drew a character called Billy Whiz (in the Beano?) and some characters inside a guy's head called the Numbskulls (was that the Beezer or the Topper?).
My eldest DD loved the Beano, I got a load of 60s annuals for her and my dad used to buy her the comics every week in the latter part of the 90s. I was storing them for her but have said she must make her own decision whether to keep them and gave them back to her couple months ago.0 -

Signed in and it added diet cake but instead of £5.98 FOR 3 eyeshadows it left to over £10.

Very pleased you have gone for the navy. Probably stand out more than peach.
Have you got a good strapless bra. Or a cross back one. Debs do one in their gorgeous range which is very sturdy. Don't want straps showing.
Think we have covered everything now. Take backup dress incase.
