    I have a few more. :o

Still not 100% happy though. Have another 5 in my basket. Brought one back from S'ton Monday, it's nice but just not quite what I really wanted, it is a bit plain jane but fits perfectly and in my usual size. :D And also one that arrived yesterday is quite nice too, and seeing as that was only a tenner I am keeping it whether I wear it to party or not.

I loved one of the Joe Brown dresses I ordered but ordering a size bigger than I am it was huge up top. I was good and took it back today. Too late to order it a smaller size as you can't get next day delivery on that range. And think it was designed for ladies with longer bodies than me.

I wish both times I have looked around Debenhams (s'ton and b'mth) I had seen the dresses I have in my online basket. As have one in two colours and one of those in two sizes for starters. Would have been easier to see instore but everything I looked at was too long even the petite ranges. And the petite ones I did think would have been ok length were not party wear at all. :(

I am fussy I know. :rotfl:

You have fussed enough for it to be dress-gate  :D:p

Talk about last minute  what about shoes....and bags...and matching nail polish  talk about flying by the seat of your ironed knickers  :p :rotfl:

Revlon **glitch** at Boots - 4 items for £5.98

Not seen this mentioned so forgive me if I am doubling up

Boots has Revlon make-up on 3 for 2 PLUS you get a free mascara worth £9.99 when buying three items - it works out you can get 3 eyeshadows (at £2.99 each) plus the free mascara for a total of £5.98

So, add 3 of these eyeshadows - plenty of choice of colours - and the mascara is added automatically:

    http://www.boots.com/en/Revlon-ColorStay-ShadowLinks%C2%99_1450762/

The 3 for 2 discount comes off plus the £9.99 for the mascara - sounds good to me!

You can also do in multiples of 3 and get a free mascara for each set of 3 items

Obviously, you can buy whatever other items you would prefer, but if wanting to spend as little as possible, the eyeshadows are the cheapest item so the lowest overall spend.

Remember free delivery to store plus Qco or TCB

    :j

Thanks for this. Not sure if I am doing anything wrong but no mascara being added just a leaflet about makeup brushes:(

If I go ahead and order these they will arrive in store after 12pm on Saturday so it will be pick up on way to hotel. :o

I might hold off tonight and ring in the morning I was a bit rushed looking today when I took the other one back.

This is the one I got from S'ton, the back does do up not sure why model doesn't but leaves a peep hole. I think it is classy just not blingy enough. Length is perfect,

haven't tried this. Had an un-glitchy order from boots for make up base this week. I got the free No7 gift which was frankly disappointing :(
The contents were ok but they were in a really cheap and Nasty cosmetic bag.

Did you get the m&s beauty box? that was fab for the spend

I best put a DISCLAIMER, I look nothing like the models in either of the top two dresses. :rotfl:

Did anyone used to watch Catherine Tate? In particular that woman who worked in the office and asked loaded questions like 'guess how much my dress cost?'......yes? :D

Well she actually exists and I've been working with her all week  I can only type here because I'm using my fingers. I finally bit my tongue totally off on Tuesday afternoon  :rotfl:

......to set the scene for her finale today......she's a larger lady. I can't say she's not because she is and I mean no offence against any other larger ladies ANYWHERE! because I have none but she was obviously looking to be offended :o:o

The conversation started with her asking where I got my trousers. I told her they were Tesco girls school trousers and couldn't help telling her they cost me £1 :rotfl::rotfl:

    ....minor silence ......

then she says 'Do you think I look big' Jesus....what a question to ask :o she is big so I'm that corner where I can say 'nooooooo you don't look big' or I can say 'errrrm well yes you do look big because you are big' I didn't want to say either so I just said 'oh the thing about size is overrated......we all fit in our own bodies' Quite a good answer I thought. :o......why me??

Did she leave it there.....did she fiddle! 15 minutes later she says to me 'I know you think I'm big but at least I've got a waist' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I had to re-swallow a gob full of coffee at that point. I hadn't said anything of the sort and here she was justifying her waist to me  (praying at this point she didn't show me it )

I know this post is savvy-esque and I'm sorry for that :p but I'm absolutely incredulous to have just received a text from a mutual colleague telling me that waist woman has told her I was 'ok' to work with but she thought I didn't like big people :eek: the text finished with.....

.......did she show you her waist  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And now I remember why I like working alone

Looking forward to 'take your kids to work day'.

No way out of this one I'm afraid. Only thing you can do if she brings issue up again is say how you would love a proper waist or bigger boobs ect

Nice to see you no longer spend big bucks on work clothes:rotfl::rotfl:

Talking of clothes when do we get a break down on outfits for Saturday from Tinyshoes?

Shoes are not a worry as I have gold kitten heels brand new, black velvet court shoes or I can borrow DD3's Next silver prom shoes. ;)

As for nail varnish, between my stash of unopened bottles and DD3's drawer full of the rainbow I don't think that will be a problem.

    But handbag? :eek::eek::eek:

I can borrow DD3's prom handbag if I borrow her shoes but otherwise have not thought about it. :o

Oh and just remembered I do have the unworn red tarts trotters. :p

Oh my  Did you collect the back page of the Bunty as a child? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I did. I kept them all in an ice cream tub and changed their clothes frequently :o I cut those clothes out with total precision. I named all the different Buntys by different name so as not to get them mixed up :o

I had a friend called Jacqueline who left my life aged 12 who shared my Bunty cut out doll fetish :o

they once printed a Bunty in a primitive Bra and Knickers and we had an open mouthed competition. :rotfl::rotfl:
