When I came close to running out of 5 beanz there was a multibuy glitch on the 4 packs. When I came close to running out of them T did the 7 pack for 80p

I am down to 9 (NINE!) tins of beans just now

The ones under my bed are BBE 03/15  :rotfl:

BB July of last year?:( As for £2 on 7 pack - what a horrible price!:rotfl: Didn't we see them at 80p in T? Horrible shape anyway - an odd number, just wrong!:rotfl: No doubt a pack size deduction 'excuse' from a proper 8 that maybe isn't reflected in the inflation figures! Alright, on that jollity, goodnight!

Two months? They'll be fine! Probably take ages to get them out of the cans as they will have stuck to the sides - I know that from experience:o:o:rotfl:. Seems you'll be having beans and beans and beans then for the next few weeks:rotfl:. Obviously I leave it to you to make any judgements as to whether they are safe or not though:cool:.

[EDIT: Canned beans - apparently up to 1 year in the pantry:

    http://www.eatbydate.com/proteins/beans-peas/beans-shelf-life-expiration-date/.

So, according to that, you'll be fine and maybe no need to rush as much as I suggest, but obviously depends on the specific way yours have been stored etc. Just may take a bit of strength to get them out of their cans:rotfl: - obviously not all cans on the same day but as and when after they are each opened.]

Can I ask a question about sausages? :o

I've messed up the meal plan OH left for me  and it means I'm a day behind with my sausages. Will they be ok one day OOD? or will they kill the children? :o

TS you needn't answer.......you've built up immunity to things that grow on OOD food  :p

Can I join in the group hug for Sal too......I'd like to be on the outside though :)

This is going to sound dodgy, but give them a whiff. If they've gone off, you'll know ;)

It looks lovely, gissus a slice :D

On a related note, I found out today that the M&M cake today made over £75 at the charity event. They ended up selling it by the slice.

I am very impressed with the meal plan - very organised.

Sniff the sausages - this does not work if they are heavily spiced or herby ones - off sausages stink so you can soon tell.
Having said that our fridge is set at 3 degrees and nothing ever goes off

Then if there is no off smell cremate the sausages serve with loads of veg and mash and gravy and the kids wont mind :D This is how we usually have them - sausages not the kids
    - don't get distracted by stray vicars on the doorstep - otherwise it will be a side order of burnt tea towel again.

Glad the lymph glands are clear - well worth going private if you get results in such a quick time and anyway there is always something else to worry about.
