Walk a mile in someone shoes before juding them.
My cousin killed himself, as far as he was concerned he was not being selfish, quite the opposite.
He was schizophrenic, he had tried to kill his mother and had had to be sectioned more than once. When he killed himself he was voluntarily in a mental hospital (they still existed then) and it was one of his more lucid times. He was trying to avoid endangering those he loved.
This clearly illustrates the different ways minds work. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

I think it's hard for people who haven't had to deal with it in their own life.
There is a big difference between someone being selfish and thinking "i don't care about anyone else" and someone feeling absolutely, utterly worthless and thinking "nobody cares about me".
Someone could actually still be thinking of others when they take their life in the sense that they believe they will do better without them around.Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
I'm really upset about princessmelody.
She doesn't live too far away from me and I've sent her many coupons in the past, but we never managed to meet up.
I know she got evicted from her flat and her hubby left her for another woman and she suffered terribly with depression.
Her little girl also has autism, like my little girl.
I'm just in genuine shock0 -
I think when you hear such shocking and tragic news, finding the right words is extremely difficult. We all fee different emotions and react differently. When I hear about someone taking their own life I feel panicked. My heart rate seems to raise. It frightens me. Some people cry, some people feel angry. Nobody's feelings are wrong though are they?
PrincessMelody was obviously thought very highly of.

Morning all
Just woke up to an almighty bang. A cyclist had driven in to the back of my car. the cyclist was not seriously injured thank god
I wish my car was the same. The damage caused is shocking you would never think someone could do so much damage on a push bike. The crash was captured on CCTV he hit the car so hard he moved it
Its a 4x4 the back door is damaged badly. The rear light is smashed. The bumper is damaged the rear panel is damaged and the rear supporting pillar is caved in. its possibly a right off absolutely gutted. Hope it does not come out of my pocket:(0 -
Whatever your view, today is not a day for arguments and disagreement
our views are borne out of our own experiences.
As someone who is married to Johnny suicide (yes the humour is required) I can see all sides including the view that it's selfish because it can be a selfish illness. Tell children that go to hospital to say goodbye to their dad because he's not expected to last the night it isn't
Just be tolerant of others' views. There are no rights or wrongs0 -

when a cyclist went into my side mirror I had to pay to replace it - over £80  - whatever your circumstances its a lot of money and at the time we were skint.
It will be interesting to see what your insurance company says“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

People who havnt suffered could never know the torture and pain xx
Having people around you who care and are prepared to do what ever it takes to get you through is the key for me. Maybe princess didn't have the support she desperately needed. We will never know xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0
