You are close enough, from rural Grampian, worked in Shetalnd for a while and airport security always gave me a strange look when I took 100+ rowies on flights back

First time I went to chipper in Edinburgh I could not understand a questio, so just said yes. Then to my shock saw salt applied and then a thin brown fluid..... They had asked salt an' sauce? Was horrified when I looked at it, BUT tasted great0 -

Salt and sauce for me every time. Oh salivating! :eek: we need to stop talking about this at this time on weekends :eek: it always makes me hungry.
My poor house guest is just about getting over the fact that our chippys don't sell deep fried pizza _pale_ :rotfl: never saw the attraction myself.
When he first moved here I overheard him on the phone to his gran one night. 'no, no pizzas, no king ribs and no puddings whatsoever.....they didn't even have quarter and half chickens' it tickled me:rotfl::rotfl:
