Does anyone else on here run? I've never been athletic but my weight loss plateaued after Christmas so I've started using the free NHS couch to 5K app. I'm on week 4 now and the jogging sections are getting longer so I think I ought to get some proper trainers. Anyone have any recommendations for where to look for some decent shoes that won't break the bank? I've looked on Sports Direct but there is soooo much choice and I haven't got a clue where to start.
I like Sketchers go run. I got some pretty cheap from Sports Direct a year or 2 ago

has anyone any ideas of what I can get as christening present for a baby boy??
    A PS4

    Glad I could help :)

Oh dear - typical Sony 'Fanboy' response.

I would have said get both a PS3 AND an Xbox 360, for less than the cost of a PS4.

Older tech for sure, but a much better library of games at a fraction of the price - many available pre-owned for under £5.

After all, the kid won't even appreciate the newer gen consoles for a few years yet.

    :p

Aww bless tiny. Keep yer chin up you really can't please everyone. And yes your right and they should be happy to be invited to celebrate it with you. :( xx

Thanks cjj, trouble is they were not looking at the bigger picture.

It's round tables of 10 so will be pretty difficult to chat to someone over the other side anyway and I had strategically placed people so that they would be next to each other on different tables. Would only need to turn to speak that is.

My extended family would never dream of mentioning anything they would just put up with it.

And it's sad that other people's feelings cannot be taken into account although apparently I was one not taking people's feelings into account. If they realised the work I had put into it they would see I had put a lot of consideration into it.

Sat here feeling very sorry for myself as I have had to organise the whole thing myself anyway. No surprises even when I said someone else can organise the cake I have been dragged in as it was left late.

I would have loved to have had something arranged for me but I knew it would never happen if I had hoped it would. I have always been the organiser in the relationship, most of the time I am disorganised but if things really matter to people I make sure it happens!

    Hi,
    I have a large-ish APG of 10.50, am i best doing a C+C?
    Will it still need authorising?
Haven't done a c+C before so would appreciate some guidance,
    Many thanks!

Hi bbford, you have to spend in store APGs in store - you can only use e-vouchers, the APGs you collect from C&C or home delivery, when you C&C.

At my local As I have never had a problem spending APGs between £10 & £15, but I don't do it very often.

Hi you cannot use a printed apg for a c&c, sorry, online shopping ie c&c or hd gives an online apg.:)

No - I did look in a few stores but only saw the (newer) 20 packs, not the (older) 2p 15 packs.

Unfortunately you can't use an APG voucher for c and c.
So you'll just have to be brave and find a non trout.

Going forward if you are worried about using APG stick to c and or HD.
I'm in this club unless APG is under £5.

Am a baby but there are scarey trouts in my neck of the woods

What's going on with the new APG? I read that it wasn't comparing to Ts so haven't done an AvT shop for a while. Now I'm seeing conflicting posts about it  Is it ok now or is it best to just do AvM? Would appreciate if someone could enlighten me please :D TIA

Thank you so much to braveheart60uk for checking my APG on the old system - got back £4 something more on a Radox shop. :)

This large apg thing is almost certainly store specific,as I suspect many of the troutings are...

I went to A on saturday and had 2 over £10 to use up ...well actually one was closer to £20 than £10...
I did 2 shops but went back to the car with the first shop to drop the shopping off before attempting the second
both times not a flicker....and on the large one she commented about the size being good...
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend
