gemmylou1984 wrote: »Hi all,
So i'll admit to being a long time follower trying to learn your clever tricks, but have never posted before. I thought i'd done quite well, but appears not!
I did a £40odd shop in sada last night, made a few mistakes - brought 3 packs of the same Olay wipes so the multibuy showed up, whereas the day before i brought 2 x wipes and 1 x toner and they showed at full price on comparison. Also brought a few pouches of green giant sweetcorn on rollback to 50p but compared to £1 in T's that hurt a little!
But mainly my question is - on priceguarantee website (the old one im using i think) it only shows my shop as being £28? not the £40 odd it actually was? and i only got £7.55 voucher - obviously need to learn better! is it because i brought too many items? is it a strict 11 item buy?
Sorry for the questions and to gatecrash - feels like all you guys know each other so i feel a bit like an intruder!
any help gratefully appreciated! x
Hi
1. with glitch shops at first I just got the glitch and fillers, one glitch otherwise you might end up with conflicting glitches. Small simple shops so I could get a grasp of what was going on
2. re green giant sweetcorn, you say they are on rollback. That doesnt glitch(potential glitch) what we are looking at at the moment is reduced to clear items (if thats what you meant then apologies). So if something in your store was RTC at 50p but online at £1.00 on a.com/mys then it might compare to somewhere cheaper eg £1 vs T at 50p. In these cases we are thinking buy 11 to force the full price comparison..on old apg site and its a working theory.:A NI FEIDIR ACH LE DIA BREITHIUNAS A DHEANAMH ORM0 -

My response was
I look forward to a version aimed at the husbands! My advice to any woman is - Don't have ANY expectations of your hubby/partner/lover, only then can he NOT disappoint you!100 -
Right I am going to get myself organised in readiness for a calming walk - things usually look better after a walk.
The week seems to be degenerating.
Our main road was closed last Friday, not that we go into town that much but OH has a 5 mile detour to get to work and trips to !!!!!! and Asda have to be planned with precision.
so over the weekend we checked all of the access and approaching roads and signage is minimal, both about the blockage and about diversionary routes. Traffic basically has to find its own way around.
So I wrote an email to our local MP who is very hands on to see if he could wield his power and influence with the highways department, not heard anything yet but it could be a while.
I put a message on the county council FB page which is apparently being passed along - not. But a chap who lives on the town side of the blockage says the business have not been informed, HGV trucks finding no way through are doing strange u terns at junctions, one accident this week already as a lorry tried to turn with a car behind him ...
Our road itself has not been too bad except for the lorries. It has now got a temporary weight restriction to stop HGVs going down it as has the 2 connecting roads, lorries are ignoring this although they could quite easily use the bypass.
Traffic coming off the bypass have to pass 3 signs to say the road is blocked before finding they have no where to go and turning down our road. So then they are confused, late and speeding.
I did leave a message on the voicemail number regarding the HGVs hoping to get to talk to the nice PCSO that I spoke to last year but I found out today he has moved on and we have the other girl back - very gruff and miserable and not approachable.
As well as this ongoing situation - road is going to be blocked for months - There is an old farmers field at the bottom of our road which despite our best efforts got planning permission and now Bellway are building on. The main entrance to the site is the old farm entrance down one road but oddly this week they opened up an old farmers gate on our road, make an access road and put kerb stones down.
So I filled in a form on the local councils website for a breach of regulations and I got a call today from planning. The chap says they are probably going to have a portacabin sales office there. He said he might check it out next week or this (ie not on his priority list)
I've now had the follow up email and it says priority 3, might be a site visit sometime in the next 20 daysBy which time I imagine a portcabin office will be in place and the carpark made and traffic going in and out.
The farmers gate has oak trees either side so you cant see out without sticking your nose out into the road and the view is restricted in both directions.
Worst still its directly opposite a chicane which was put there in an attempt to slow traffic so traffic there is single track on the field side. Quite often people just ignore it and drive straight through despite oncoming traffic and now there is another exit, an accident waiting to happen.

That is so true, and what about the Big Bad Wolf
Put here as a reminder for the before and after pics
I hate to say this, but it is possible, you just need a bit of software to do it!
Oh, and I am delighted to see they are going to be able to stop people spreading hate and intolerance :T:T:T
That's fine and well. But again, the bigger picture isn't being looked at. In removing that they are also removing the right to free speech which also includes the right to protest. If you protest and the HRA has been scrapped your !!!!t!
We might be a democracy now, but we fast turning in to a communist dictatorship.0 -
