LCD seems to last longer than plasma. where is the best place to get the best deal. it would be an average size TV for a lounge.thanks in advance.

before you do, make sure you view a standard definition TV broadcast on it in the shop, otherwise you may end up disappointed (upscaling/blockiness/artifacts). Try kelkoo/pricerunner/froogle etc for prices when you find the model you want

i bought my 32" lcd tv for https://www.aria.co.uk just after xmas and it only cost me £399 delivered then. i believe they have dropped the price a lot since then so they might be worth a look

LCD lasts the same length as plasma.
also the usual myths that follow these TV's are now no long true
