Moving house HB?

Moved house already, went to local housing benefit place and filled in moving house form and gave the new TA which they copied and kept.

That was about 2 weeks ago. Not heard anything back yet. I asked for HB payments to be every 2 weeks, because am way overdrawn.

Is there anything else I can do to speed things up? If I contact them again explaining Im overdrawn and relying on my next payments ASAP, will that help at all?

I have told Tax Credits and child benefit already. But still not heard back from either of them.

Unfortunately nothing to speed it up really - if you are falling behind, could you confirm they have your form and are awaiting assessment?

The DWP publish data on how each council is performing so if you want to PM me yours, I can tell you how quickly they process change in circumstances on average?
I currently manage a Housing Benefit service and have been working in Housing / council tax benefit (as was) since 2001.
