Surely the charge IS for the internet cable? (however it's terminated)Paully232000 wrote: »So, if i bought one of these I could plug it into the hotel room internet cable and get wifi rather than the £20/day or so charge for internet in the room?0 -

Maybe I misunderstood what the other poster wrote.
When i go to hotel rooms there is often a cable already there that you can plug into your laptop.0 -
Hard Wire connections are always better but I did notice most of the posts say use Cat5. If you are running it in then go for Cat5e. Both cables can be run for up to 100m but Cat5 is only 100Mbps where as Cat5e is 1000Mbps.0

I was going to suggest this option. The cable is only carrying up to an Amp at 12 volts so you can use ordinary "doorbell" twin flex or even loudspeaker twin flex. In fact telephone cable will do.0
