How do I get my start bar back to the bottom of the screen?

HI folks

The Start Bar has somehow moved from the bottom of my screen to go up the left hand side. How do I restore it to normal?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

  • click on a little empty space (like just to the right of the start button) and drag it to the bottom of your screen.

Once done right mouse click on the clear bit and click lock the taskbar so you dont do it again my accident :)

Drag it to the bottom and then right click to Lock the Tasklbar to stop it moving.

Thanks Merciless Killer! That worked - except for the 'lock the taskbar' bit - I don't have that option. Anyway now I know what to do if I do it again. Thanks again!

Taskbar lock started in XP on wards, so OP is obviously using an old, obsolete, unsupported OS, tight rrrrrrrrr's!
