What do people get up to that requires such amazing customer service from their bank? I only contact them when opening accounts. Though i did go into talk about an isa the other year where we had a fixed term.

FD will give you a key fob code generator, if you ask. No need for the app.

I know, but the app is easier, so why have another calculator. I've already got a draw with over half a dozen of them!

Yes but it works better with the app. I originally requested the key fob generator but found it very fiddly to use. I had thought that the app version would only allow me to do secure transactions on the phone and i prefer a full size screen for most secure ones. However this isn't the case. On the rare occasions when i do need to do a secure one, I can generate the code number on the phone and then use the laptop for the rest.

My key fob generators have all gone to the monstrosities knacker's yard (the one that recently took in #edstone).
