Morning All,
Curious to know does anyone know of a good app for debt tracking or has anyone got a good spreadsheet that they could share there layout
I would like to keep track of the debt that I have and update it monthly to see if I'm on track or ahead of track
Any replies would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Hi
I suggest spend maybe an hour making your own one. There are a few spreadsheets I found googling but none of them really did the job.
Send me a private message and I'll send you a rough outline.
Based on my monthly budget and debt tracker I would suggest the following format:
On the left side list all outgoings (i.e. Column A name/description, Column B the amount going out) including your debt payments.
Down the bottom add all of the outgoings into a total, then below this have your monthly income. At the bottom of Column B have a cell to subtrack your outgoings from your income to show what you have left.
On the right side of the spreadsheet list your debts with outstanding amounts and monthly payments then to the right of this have a cell that devides the total amount by the monthly payment of each.
These are just some ideas for your spreadsheet. I apologise if you're an Excel newbie or if I've confused you, but I was pretty inept at using Excel when I created my spreadsheet and eventually I found a way to make everything work. You only need basic Excel skill and knowledge (i.e. how to add up a list of numbers into a total, how to minus one cell from another, etc.)0
