the prankster is now reporting that cases (or at least one so far) are being stayed until the result of the supreme court case


yes we know that an official court case has not been given a date , and the fact that an appeal has not actually been started.


however people need to get POPLA to stay there cases , so that they cannot start court without a judge being annoyed that there is no alternate appeals service available ,


so it might also be a good idea to quote the above case number and get POPLA to stay the appeal .


I wonder if this could be "timed out" (6 yrs) with luck! however it can't be if an action is started (pity)

the case number is listed , so if you have a case in progress , write to the court inc the case number shown and ask for your case to be stayed.


if enough people do this , its going to hurt PEs income , or losses in a lot of cases :j


the site owners might just kick off , saying "whats the point of hiring a company that cannot do court cases" , sorry fulfil there contract!

That argument fails, Freddy as you will still get people " jumping down your back " for spelling and misquotes no matter if you are giving advice or simply commenting. If that really bothers you, then you would stay away from posting on this forum altogether.

As for comments when you actually gave advice - people on here only tend to react adversely when the advice is wrong or daft.

Also remember that your signature is seen on all forums and may detract from any advice you may be giving on these other forums.

Better for you to ignore people's sigs which you find "silly" than take it on yourself to pompously dish out advise like this that is bound to cause offence.

Isn't his sig just a personal message intended to be seen in all posts and acts as a "badge" for the rest of us to see him coming?

I see you are back again on a couple of threads this morning with your usual "style".

If you had chosen to read my posts on this thread, I was encouraging freddy to ignore the adverse comments and continue to offer advice on here.

I will leave it to freddy to say if I caused offence or not. Clearly it was not intended

Oh, by the way, "advise" is a verb - When a noun, in your post, it is "advice" and have the split infinitive on me.

I have merely stopped giving "specific" help or comments on singular cases , I will leave that to others


I am still very interested in getting the parking system in the UK , to be a fair environment for parkers.


the likes of PE using the courts as they do at present , with inflated costs annoys me.


as for the CEL/DEAL sham , I actually think people should be charged and criminal proceedings brought against there bosses

Quentin - Doesn't seem I caused freddy any offence and that he took my comments in the way it was intended. It is a great shame that the decent advice you give some people on other forums is not reflected in this one where your antipathy to some posters comes over as spiteful bile. In fact, I can't recall more than a couple of "See Newbie" posts by you that have actually attempted to help OPs on here so it looks like you are on this forum to troll.

I still think, freddy, you should put the past behind and where you think you can help some people, do so. Remember it's the OPs we are trying to help, not anyone with a beef. :beer:
