You believe it was her words, so please show them

Your desperation is utterly pathetic. Why you always resort to these tactics when you lose an argument is ridiculous.

My one and only point is that Sturgeon helped the Conservatives win by promising to "Lock David Cameron out of Downing Street"

If you think otherwise then you are wrong.

It may look that way from Aberdeen, but from anywhere in England it looks quite clear.

She made a huge tactical error by going onto live TV debates and repeatedly making that assertion. It showed that she is clearly out of her depth, and completely overplaying her hand which was and is very weak.

You seem incredibly desperate to deny that Sturgeon did or said anything that might have altered voting patterns.

    Unfortunately you are wrong.

She certainly doesn't seem to have said anything about calling the shots, unlike Theresa May or Ed Milliband or David Cameron. This sound slike one of those right-wing tory press confections like that French consul nonsense.

Certainly the Conservatives used her words against her, but it was what she said, and the way that she said it that caused the most offense to English voters.

I have spoken to many people in England who are of that opinion, and I know a good many who voted Conservative because of what she said.

in that case, let's hope that goes well for them, and they don't suffer buyer's remorse.:o

As I said, it's not desperation, but trying to get you and others to open their eyes and ears to see beyond the spin.

Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP have never to my searching said they would call the shots, but it's ingrained in your and many others mind that she did.

Again, if you look at the words she was appealing to Ed Milliband that if the results turned out as the polls suggested, she was willing to work with Labour to "lock out the Conservatives"

Ed dropped the ball as many other opportunities.

She also appealed the the ROUK that she was not inclined to join a coalition with Labour either and ensured that they would use their representation responsably for the whole of the UK

Didn't stop the Conservative spin to say she would be "calling the shots"

Fair enough, that's your opinion, mine is that Labour missed the opportunity to firm up their vote in England and Scotland by reassuring the electorate that he would work to a Labour manifesto and challange the SNP to vote it down in favour of the Conservatives.

The Ed's were weak and lost this election, in my opinion.

So it was an Alex Salmond impersonator who said that he knew what would be in Ed Balls first budget...as he was drafting it?
    I think....

The SNP are just spinning to shift the "blame", the SNP did help the Tories scrape a majority; not that I'm complaining, the country can make some progress now.

    LOL, good one.

SNP return an unprecedented MAJORITY vote in Scotland securing 56 seats and the parties that capitulated cannot take responsibility.

Perhaps Labour should have shared their private polling results with the nation?

Mr Morris, a partner at Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, said that "from January 2011 to spring 2013, Labour's average vote share in the public polls rarely dropped out of the low 40s. We consistently had it around seven points lower."

Yes I saw that in the Guardian yesterday and on Newsnight. I suppose they didn't want to publish bad news. Interestingly this article popped up a couple of days before the election and it was dismissed because Atul Hatwal was seen within Labour as being anti Ed:-

I find it hard to believe we are complaining about politicians doing what politicians do.

They will always seek to twist the meaning in their opponents statements; or to over-emphasise a particular point.

Let's turn this round. If David Cameron had talked about the need for a leaner more efficient NHS then Nicola Sturgeon; Alex Salmond; and Ed Miliband would have all jumped on it.

    It comes with the territory.

It's a great result for the SNP, and it echoes the strong showing in the independence referendum by the SNP.

Which is why, down here, we see the SNP as a strong independence party. Ie - anti unionist.
