If you don't get the incentive within the stated time period, complain and you'll get an extra £25-£75, so it doesn't really matter.

i can confirm that they can be pushed for some compensation, zerog. but i have had to really battle to get them to pay out in the past. the service is nice, but hopeless.
  • OP here - I got paid the incentive today, 33 days after switch. I also got a customer service 'how did we do' email for the chap I spoke to on the phone.. which I will fill out very positively :)

With my co-op switch, I didn't receive the incentive, so I called them, they said it would arrive in 7 days, it didn't, so I sent an email via their website and they gave me £150 without any further hassle.

Quick question I take it I can just use two Tescobank direct debits to qualify when switching bonus bagging the various bank offers?

i would have thought so. i have used 1 Tesco and 1 Building Society DD, but i understand that people are qualifying for switches, with other banks, using 2 x Tesco DDs.

Make sure you use two separate Tesco savings accounts, e.g. Internet Saver and Instant Access (which support DD funding), rather than one or more of their current accounts (which don't).
