Buyer has used wrong email for Paypal

I have an eBay account which is linked to one email address and Paypal which is in another email address but is linked to the eBay account.
My buyer has sent payment to the eBay email address for a Buy It Now item.
Am I right in thinking I can only have one Paypal address and therefore can't set up another one to claim the money?
What should I / the buyer do now?

You can have up to 8 email addresses on 1 paypal account so just add the ebay one and confirm it then the payment should come through0

It wasn't the buyer who used the wrong address it was you as they will have paid via eBay which in turn picks up the email address you have put in. It sounds like you typed the wrong address by accident.
If adding and verifying the 'wrong' address doesn't show the payment then it sounds like something is still wrong. Until you can see the payment in your paypal account you don't even have a safe address to send it to.
I would double check what address you actually used on the listing, the easiest way to do that is to go through the sell similar process and see what address shows up- but don't relist it of course.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Edit: further to the above if you can see the payment but it shows as funds held it might be the 21 day hold, but your email will say that. If it is the 21 day hold then you need to send the item, if however it is an echeque you mustn't send it until it clears.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks for all the replies - sorry if I wasn't clear.
The email address in my ebay is right, it's just not the same as the email address for my Paypal account. I have added the ebay email address to Paypal as Steve suggested and verified it and the funds were visible.
I assumed as the Paypal was linked to the ebay account that it would automatically send the payment to the Paypal account.
The hold is the 21 day hold as it is the first time I have sold from this account before. The transaction was saying okay to send so I have done so.0 -
As you have now discovered the seller needs to put the correct paypal ID in when submitting a listings as eBay do not DSL it automatically. I have 2 paypal accounts, one my main business one and the other a micro so I have to make sure I always set the auction up with the correct account. Thanks for all the replies - sorry if I wasn't clear.

Can you not add the email used in the listing to you paypal account and change it to prime email, then change it back again? I've done a similar thing a good few years back and I seem to recall doing this.0

That's what was suggested and acted on at the beginning of the thread. It appears OP now has the payment which is subject to a 21 day hold and is in the process of sending the item.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
