work capability assessment

Had my assessment a couple of weeks ago and have had a text saying they'll be phoning me within the next 3 hours, is that normal for a Friday evening, or any evening in fact?

Well I just applied for some benefits, and while they are different than yours it said that they might call me up until 9pm on a work day. So maybe yours isn't something terrible, maybe they just want you sorted out asap?

Maybe the DWP are paying overtime to the decision makers after deciding to sack a whole load of them because they had to save money?

the 3 hours were up at 2317 & no call.
They had tried calling a couple of times today but if I don't know the number I don't answer, I googled after the first call & tried calling them back but it's an automated message, saying who it is & that they will try again.
When they called the second time, I picked up within a couple of rings & the line went dead.
Maybe they just like to keep you in a perpetual state of anxiety.
