VCS - Parking ChargeNotice - Some Advice!

Hi All
Firstly, thank you for any advice that any of you may have regarding a VCS parking charge notice that I received some time ago. I have read through the Newbies Section but could not find anything that was similar to my particular case.
I visited a client in Birkenhead on the 13/6/14. I parked outside their premises in a car park that covers all the industrial units on the estate. I didnt realise at the time but the car park had been newly patrolled by VCS since my previou visit. When i left the premises, there was a ticket attached to my windscreen, which I ignored - which I now realise that I shouldnt have done!
Months passed and I didnt hear anything from VCS and I presumed that the matter had gone away and ignoring the ticket was the right course of action. Then out of the blue on 13/2/15, I received a letter from Mercedes Finance (who may car is leased from) notifying me of a penalty parking charge. They returned the letter to VCS notifying them that my car was registered to my business.
A few day later I received the Notice to Keeper from VCS demanding payment of the £60 parking fine, which I again ignored and nothing has been heard until today 8/5/15, when I received a letter from Rossendales Collect requesting payment of £130.00.
Some deatils which may help!
I have never aknowledged receipt of any letters or tickets from either VCS or Rossendales.
My car is a company car, registered to a business, I have never confirmed the driver.
The car is insured for all drivers at my workplace - so theoretically could have been driven by 1 of 10 people.
The Notice to Keeper was received by me 8 months after the ticket was issued.
We have moved business premises between the ticket being issued and the Notic to Keeper being received, but they made no contact with the vehilcle owner (Mercedes Finance) until Feb 15.
Does anyone have any advice on how to proceed?
Thanks

yep, continue in IGNORE mode as per post #4 of that NEWBIES sticky thread, seeing as its too late to do anything else
you SHOULD hvae appealed it to VCS when the NTK arrived in feb 2015, then gone to popla if they refused to cancel the ticket, but all water under the bridge now so they have another 5 years or more to pursue this matter (an unpaid invoice), through the small claims court if necessary
contrary to your opinion, there is NOTHING new in what you have said so far, ie:- you should have appealed it and gone to popla, you didnt so you are in pay or ignore mode0
