Telephone Park - wrong registration - private carpark

Any advise please - I parked in a Euro Car Parks carpark and used the telephone system to pay. Unfortunately I entered the wrong registration for my car so today I have received a letter/invoice to pay for parking. Do I have grounds to appeal and has anyone had a similar situation with this company with a positive outcome?
Thanks in advance

Hi James,
There are many post from people whose circumstances are similar to yours where people have paid but get a charge anyway e.g. entered wrong reg (in a P&D machine key pad, by phone app etc).
You can probably find examples by using search terms such as "entered wrong reg" or similar using the Search the Forum function but you will find the advice is the same.
Which is :-
The precise circumstances aren't what's most important when challenging any parking charge notice.
The legal arguments against the charge are.
So would suggest re-reading the NEWBIES thread - look particularly for the suggested 1st appeal template and gen up on why the points that are suggested for an appeal are included and why the appeal should be done as registered keeper.0 -
Stop trying to find a perfect match. Their claim is unreasonable. You need to point out your error to them, and then inform them that they have made no loss, as you paid. Therefore any demands for additional money are far beyond any cost to them. They'll reject the appeal. But then use GPEOL as your next appeal argument (along with all the others).0
