Cat run and housing.... help!

I had someone make one for me ... (a DIY chap advertising in the local paper) ... on the advice of a Maine breeder, she said do NOT go for chicken wire, that you need heavy guage wire with just an inch spacings to take their weight because they will climb the wire. That's what she had to get for her cats and so, my cats being just your run of the mill smaller moggies, she said they would be perfectly fine and safe with it!
Edit: If you buy the wire yourself, it works out cheaper than if your DIY/company supply it. I got that on Ebay ... then just have the wooden frame made up and wire attached.
Would have been close to £550 ish had I got the chap to make it all and supply everything ... this way it came to just short of £400.0
