Hi all,
A friend of mine has had a recent rent increase but has remained on a SPT, does the agent need to issue the prescribed information again because of the increase or is it not necessary?

Should they have been issued with the PI when moving from their original FT to a SPT though. I'm trying to clarify for them as their LL has been an a $$ and they are hoping to be moving soon2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -
No, there is no longer any requirement to give PI again.0

I thought the superstrike v rodrigues case made it necessary to issue the PI once the original FT had expired2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -

That's not my understanding of the case...
From what I read up on this, if a renewal of contract is issued then Prescribed Information must be re-served. Increasing the rent does not constitute a renewal of contract, therefore PI does not need to be re-served.
Happy to be corrected by anyone else who is more in the loop however!0 -
I must have missed that one,do you have a link to the act?jjlandlord wrote: »Yes, but the Deregulation Act (luckily) removed that requirement.2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0
