Did anyone else get this email from Tesco/Avios?

Get higher, faster with 102 Avios bonus

Exchange £2.50 in Tesco Clubcard vouchers for Avios today, and, in honour of the mighty Empire State Building, we’ll give you a boost of 102 extra Avios. While this isn’t quite enough to get you to New York, it’s a good start.

Does this mean I get 102 extra avios for every £2.50 converted? eg... £10 gets 408 bonus points?

Or does it mean that only £2.50 will get the extra bonus points? The Ts & Cs aren't clear.

Also, should I wait for a better deal? I've been hoarding my clubcard points because the MoneysavingExpert article says

But [Tesco] occasionally boosts this to 4,000 Avios for every £10. So if you've no plans to use your points yet, hold your horses until Tesco runs one of these promotions.

Yet, I've never seen one of these promotions. How often do they happen?

They virtually never happen - the last one must be 2 or 3 years ago by now.

As to this offer, it doesn't seem to be on the Tesco website so I can't tell whether it's per £2.50 - though I'd imagine they'd say if it was. It's not a great deal but I don't foresee a better one coming along (well, until just after I convert them all anyway!).

Full Ts&Cs posted below. I'm not planning on Flying/Eurostaring using Avios for over a year (I've already booked all my flights into 2016 already) and my clubcard points dont expire til next year at the ealiest, so is it worth just spending £2.50 on this offer and holding out for a better deal?
