Recommend a WiFi router

Need a quality WiFi router (TP-LINK archer d9 returned due unreliable 2.4 WiFi). Probably don't need AC. Existing ADSL modem is good enough but probably makes sense to get a combo modem/router.

I had really great results with this Asus router (mbreviews.com/asus-rt-n66u-dark-knight-router-review/).
I have 2 laptops, one smart TV, 3 android smartphones and an iphone and the connection is fast and stable, the coverage is really great (the signal remains strong throughout the coverage area, doesn't dissipate).
I stream Full HD movies to my TV with the router in another room over a concrete wall and I had no issue with the signal.0
