Sounds like a man not to be taken seriously (unless you meet him in a dark alley. send him a parcel of used nappies OP.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • You guys are hilarious. Thanks for all the detective work. I called BPA earlier and they simply said I should appeal again but I'll see if I can file a complaint somewhere about everything

To all the lily livered people out there like me.. Don't make my mistake of calling these yobs

For future reference to anyone with Android phones. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this call recording app:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=polis.app.callrecorder&hl=en

It's free, very unintrusive and very reliable.

iPhones will almost certainly have equivalents, but I can't recommend any specifically.

Name and shame the retail park, do they have a face book page or similar?
record your conversation with the parking company, in most cases they will be acting as agents for and on behalf of the retail park owner.
Upload the recording to you tube or similar title it as This is How ( name of retail park owner ) treats members of the public.

if its a big corporate entity they probably have some stuff and nonsense about corporate social responsibility. You can use your recording to show what exactly that means
    From the Plain Language Commission:

"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

It is a criminal offence (Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act) to record a telephone conversation without the other party's knowledge and then disclose the content of that recording to a third party.

If you have a Nexus 4 then almost NO call recorder app will work. (It'll record your voice but not the other party). It's simply a function of how the Nexus 4 is configured.

True but at the end of the conversation you can inform them that you have recorded the call.
Im sure a lot of the PPCs record conversations. Do they inform you at the start of a phone call that you're being recorded?

No surprise from a man operating a PPC. Remember these are the worst type of people - scammers, thieves, fraudsters, etc. Bottom feeders.

Very true. It is also a criminal offence to exceed the speed limit. Personally, I take my chance with the latter and would do so with the former.
