Lat year we booked with haven last minute (2 adults 1 5/yo) and got a week in wales for £80 with going places/haven, last minute deal.
We went round all the travel agents yesterday and the cheapest we have been quoted was hoseasons@ £460!!!!!
We can't afford it and my son is going to be so upset, please does anyone know of any discounts or any way to knock the price to nearer £200 (which we could just about do)
What we want is what we had last year for our £80 (i.e caravan, big holiday park with kids activities and decent sandy beach)
I don't know what to do! we wanted to do south really (devon way)..please help someone?!

have you tried newhols.com ? We went to haven in devon 2 weeks ago and loads of the caravans there were owned by newhols which seems to be cheaper and includes passes for the entertainment

Have you tried TLH (www.tlh.co.uk)? If you are looking for a holiday in Devon, they are situated in Torquay and offer many different types of accomodation.
We went for a self catering apartment which allowed us to save money on eating out some nights, but they have a few different hotels ranging from 2 - 3 star.
There is also absolutely loads of activities for you and your little one to do there.

yeah! heard horrid reviews of pontins though, accomodation filthy etc, anyone recommend one of their parks? so i've narrowed it down to two now, pontins or park resorts st margarets bay by dover. this appears to be the same park as hoseasons st margarets bay but park is £300 cheaper. why is this? do you still get passes included?Fr. We have used www.daltonsholidays.com and found listings of private hirers together with company hirers.
If you can check out Chesil Beach Holiday Park nr Weymouth in Dorset . Really nice site and excellent entertainment, kids were very safe as well.
Good luck I am sure you will find something that fits the bill .
