Who is threatening court action? If it's a debt collector then just collect their bog paper.0
-
UKCPS operate a contractual charge system and must account for vat in their invoices. If they have not they may be trying to evade tax.

If you ask for a vat compliant invoice and they refuse, shop 'em.

Hi
UKCPS are threatening court proceedings if I dont pay them £125 which I did not pay, it could go up to £325 with court hearing costs.
I left the site to go to toilet because theres no toilet on site0 -
in that case you should treat this as an LBCCC and read the LBCCC thread in the crabman sticky thread, plus read post #5 of the NEWBIES sticky thread too (about court cases)
UKCPS do take people to court for these parking invoices, so if you ignore it and dont try to deal with it then you may well end up with an MCOL
the NEWBIES thread explains the acronyms and the issues involved etc , so please read through it
they have 6 years to take this to small claims court for an unpaid invoice (the first pcn you received was an invoice)0 -

If there is one0 -
Why not ask them for a v.a.t. compliant invoice "in order that you can consider paying the invoice" See the links I provided earlier in this thread.
They would be on very dodgy ground trying to charge you £100 for going for a jimmy. A judge might conclude they were trying to take the !!!!.fYou never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

If there is one
UKCPS only accept postal correspondence - they apparently live in the "Victorian Era" according to one well known poster.
I do hope that you sent a response as per Redx's post above. That letter is UKCPS non-compliant version of a LBCCC0 -
Hi after reading the newbees and a lot of other posts I am not clear what my next step is0
-
Your next step is - write and ask for vat compliant invoice as suggested and also ask for evidence of leaving site.0
