Hi everyone,
Just after some advice regarding Dublin and where to go etc.
We are going over for the England game in June, travelling on the Saturday and returning on the Monday like many others due to the timing of the game.
We have been told that with the match being at 1pm on a Sunday, there will be no where that serves alcohol until 12.30? Is this true? So far, many are travelling without tickets so unless we can source some whilst we are there, the pub will be calling to watch the game.
Can anyone recommend bars and clubs to go, or give a miss? We are staying in Temple Bar but heard it's rather on the expensive side!
Any help would be great
thanks

Sounds very civilized to me

Skinful for those who need it on the Saturday night- late full Irish fry to soak it up and off to the pub after the match. Temple Bar is very lively and not much more expensive than other city centre pubs (as noted drink is dear in Ireland anyway) -spirit measures btw are larger than UK measures.
I can't think of anywhere in Dublin that does prelunch time opening on a Sunday although you will find Spar type shops open for cans in the city centre.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0
