Dishwasher causing boiler problems?

Hello. I had a dishwasher plumbed in today and now my boiler is making weird banging noises that seem to be linked to the hot water (ie when I run hot water and when it heats the water). It's a Gloworm HXI18 and F9 shows when the red light flashes, the dishwasher isn't working yet (plumbed in but not fitted into the integral unit). Is this a coincidence or should I ask the dishwasher installer to do something?
Thank you for considering such a possibly stupid question!

Have they fully opened the mains water supply ??0

have you tried turning it off & then back on again, the switch on the front of the boiler NOT the switched spur ?
F9 is low pressure in the heating system or faulty sensor or faulty pump, can you see what the pressure is on the front of the boiler before it goes to F9 ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Thanks both. DH tried the stopc*ck this morning and said it seemed fully open. I ca nt see the pressure on the boiler, it only seems to show the temperature (I'm assuming as its in double figures and rises when the boiler starts heating).
It's off now as after leaving it off for 60 mins or so last night, I switched it back on and it immediately started making alarms clattles and bangs. I'll be asking the builder and calling a plumber later this morning, what a joy! Thanks for your help, other ideas very welcome.

should the d/washer not be fed by the cold water supply ?. im only asking as ours is! & then the water is heated wthin the d/washer , but im not a so called expert, if im right its connected to the wrong feed in pipe, ie not the hot supply,0 -
As above, a domestic d/w is cold feed only. There is no connection unless they've turned off the main supply and you have an airlock or something. Is this a combi or conventional boiler?
You need to call an RGI, not a plumber. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I'd be very pleased if there was no connection between the dishwasher and the boiler as it means that I don't need to find another builder for all the other work that needs doing!!
Thanks for all your advice, registered Gas Safe plumbing engineer coming round tomorrow morning. I hope its quick, simple and cheap but suspect its time for a new boiler (this will be the third call out in 6 months).0
