Hi Folks
Really looking for some advice, have 3 fridge freezers that I am looking at:
Siemens KG32U193GB - cheapest price found: £617.00 (free 5yr warranty)
Miele 8862SD - cheapest price found: £540 (2 year warranty)
Hotpoint FF200 - cheapest £350ish (1 year warranty)
Any pluses or negs on any of them appreciated, or any better prices too.
Many thanks

Hi, I have a Siemens fridge freezer (American type) and various other appliances of theirs. I have a Miele dishwasher. All of them were bought with a 5 year warranty. Siemens is part of BSH, which incorporates Bosch, Neff and Siemens. The thing I like about BSH and Miele is that they use their own engineers, not some halfwit that has no idea.
With Miele if you have a warranty problem, they email and text you with a 2 hour time slot. With Siemens they give you half a day slot. So both pluses on that front, I hate waiting in all day.
The quality of the 'workings' on my Siemens washing machine is 10fold compared to a cheaper make some years ago. Even down to the bit that you plumb it to. So I would go for Siemens or Miele everytime. Probably putting Miele ahead slightly.
I can't comment on Hotpoint as I have never had them. Just a cursory look on dealtime and kelkoo gives prices in line with those you have found.
We did buy our FF from Kitchen Science and found that they gave a slight discount (I think from memory it was about 5%) on top of the best price we could find. It may be worth ringing them. Other Siemens stuff came from Appliance City.
Kitchen Science have their price promise on the website. Just also seen that you can get them via quidco for 4% (which would explain why they gave me extra 5% on phone) and that there is a coupon in the quidco link for another 5% off.0
