tax credit renewal

Hi
Can anyone tell me if my tax credit will be automatically renewed this year as we are in receipt of benefits and not working anymore?
We claim ESA,PIP and carers allowance, when I told them about the claim for carers allowance last year they wanted to know how much we will recieve for the year, so does that mean I'll have to renew this year to give them the actual amount we recieved or will they already have that information?
