Does anyone do the book folding?

I've always been quite creative and I'm loving these words folded into the pages of books which I keep seeing everywhere. Words like family, hope, love which then make great mantle piece decorations.
I found a few patterns for them on Etsy but I was wondering if anyone on here does this new craft and how they got into it? Firstly I'm guessing I'll need some good hardback books

I also do book folding, and bought patterns at first from sellers on ebay, but then bought a disc with all the letters and fonts on to make words myself. You will need to buy books ( i buy mine from charity shops), and check how many pages they are and how many you need for your word. Its a good hobby to make as presents, and i also sold a few last year. Time consuming, but its great seeing the word appear!0
